Hydrogen Water and Quality of Life During Radiotherapy — What a 2011 Trial Found

A 2011 randomised, placebo-controlled trial in Medical Gas Research tested hydrogen-rich water in 49 patients receiving radiotherapy for liver tumours. Six weeks of drinking hydrogen-rich water significantly improved quality of life on the EORTC QLQ-C30 scale and reduced blood markers of oxidative stress — without changing tumour response to radiotherapy.
